Called to order: 6:05pm
Attendance: Kathy DeWitt, Tony Colter, Wendy Neal, Laura Million, Dave DeWitt.

The November 2, 2015 Board Meeting Minutes were read. A motion to approve the November 2, 2015 SLAGA Board Meeting Minutes was made by Tony Colter and seconded by Wendy Neal. The Board unanimously approved the minutes.
Treasurer’s report from November 2015 was read. A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report was made by Tony Colter and seconded by Laura Million. The Board unanimously approved the minutes.
Old Business
- Brochures:
Kathy DeWitt mentioned that Pete Shaw asked for pictures to include in the brochure. - Newsletter/email-blast:
- New Day Hike – Kathy DeWitt announced that she will be out of town and asked Tony Colter to create the Cache pages for the Breakfast and Hike. Laura Million stated that she will be out as of Friday with Knee replacement surgery, so that if the cache page does not get published before Friday, someone else will have to send the email blast.
- Winter Pot Luck – Michael Rogers is hosting the Winter Pot-luck and joined us for this meeting. He stated that he would like a statement in the email blasts that dogs are not allowed in the County Park buildings.
- Newsletter – Laura would like all materials for the SLAGA Winter Newsletter by January 18, 2016 so that she can publish the Newsletter January 25, 2016.
- Upcoming events:
- SLAGA Christmas party – Shamrock December 12 – Everything is getting in place for the Christmas party. Tony Colter reported that the SLAGA Christmas coins are delayed, but will be shipped directly to him, hopefully in time for the Christmas party.
- New Year’s Day breakfast – Kathy DeWitt will not be able to attend the New Year’s Day Breakfast or hike. Tony Colter will create Cache page.
- New Year’s Day hike – Robertsville State Park January 1, 2016 – Tony Colter will create Cache page.
- Winter Pot-Luck – January 30, 2016 at The Pavilion at Lemay (305 Gregg Road) - Premium member prizes from Fall Picnic will be handed out at the Pot-Luck. Michael Rogers reported that people volunteering for positions. He reports that there is public wifi available in the new building. He needs people to help set up and break down. Kathy DeWitt mentioned that many people stay to help clean up. He needs new caches to be placed. Wendy Neal said that she will look into placing a puzzle cache. We would also like a group photo, geo bingo, kids games, and a raffle. Michael noted that not many people signed up to provide a meat dish. Laura Million will include that in the next email blast.
- Leap Day – Monday, Feb 29, 2016 – Tony Colter showed the design for the SLAGA custom coin. Coin will be $10 cash or check and $11 by pay pal. No locations have been confirmed. Dave DeWitt will check with Schafly’s Tap Room.
- PI Day – Monday, March 14, 2016 – It was discussed and decided not to offer a custom coin this year. The “Key Lime” pie can be ordered on line. Locations for this event will be discussed at a later board meeting.
- CITO – April 16-24, 2016 – Korrian will sponsor one of the spring CITO events. SLAGA will provide water and a CITO coin for each event as we did last year.
- Spring Picnic – Date to be determined. Korrian is working on it getting a pavilion at one of the St. Louis County parks.
- Summer Picnic 2016 – No volunteers to host the event yet. The board will discuss this at a future meeting.
- CITO – September 17-25, 2016 - No volunteers to host these events yet. The board will discuss this at a future meeting.
- Fall Picnic 2016 – No volunteers to host the event yet. The board will discuss this at a future meeting.
- GeoCoin Fest – October 15, 2016 – No new developments.
- Halloween event 2016 – No new developments.
- Classes
- GSAK 101 – Pete Shaw reported to Kathy DeWitt that this class is filling up fast.
- GSAK 201 – No new updates.
- 12 days of Cachemas – A SLAGA Christmas coin will be the prize for the F2F in the final cache. Tony Colter motioned that SLAGA provide the coin. Wendy Neal seconded the motion. The Board unanimously approved.
- SLAGA coin – Tony Colter showed the initial design for the new SLAGA geocoin. It is a silver flur-de-lis shaped. His aim is to have them ready for purchase at the Spring picnic.
- Milestones – Pete Shaw reported to Kathy DeWitt that there have been very few milestone submission. Laura will send a reminder email blast and add it to the Winter Pot-Luck email blast.
