SLAGA Spring Picnic:

The Spring picnic was a success in spite of the rain. The trailer needs to be re-stocked before the next picnic with BBQ brush, squirt bottle, napkins, PA system, raffle ticket jars. Kathy and Pete will purchase the needed items and check on the trailer prior to the Summer picnic.

The Board discussed a change in raffle drawings. It was suggested that attendees might buy more raffle tickets if they do not need to be present to win. Attendees will provide contact information on the back of the ticket and will be contacted by a SLAGA board member if they are not present when the ticket is drawn. The Board agreed to try this at the fall picnic.

Business Cards:

The new SLAGA business cards were handed out to the board members. We are encouraged to hand them out to other members to put into caches. This is an inexpensive way to advertise SLAGA to the Geocaching community, especially to new cachers in our community.

12 days of Cachemas:

Pete Shaw will send email to potential cache placers for this event. More will be discussed later this fall.

Missouri Association for Health, PE and Rec Dept.:

New Business

Winter Pot Luck:

Rich Sheffold (RGS) has been in contact with STL County about the new Visitors Center. He will visit the new community center and advise the Board about its use for the SLAGA Winter Pot Luck.

Grill:

Dave and Kathy DeWitt found a grill from Walmart that they proposed that SLAGA purchases. This grill would be used at picnics and other events where grills are not available or are too small for a group the size of SLAGA. The grill sells for about $400. The Board will further discuss this at a future meeting.

Meeting adjourned: 7:23pm

Next Meeting: July 6, 2015, 6pm, STL Bread Co. South Grand, St. Louis
